ha, I got your blood pressure rising :D Now, what I`m suggesting is very simple really. We should be rewarded in game for accomplishing various tasks with ship decals.
-Hutton Orbital decal
-Unlocked Palin decal
-Getting to Colonia/Galaxy core decal

and I bet ppl can come up with many more.

And even more obvious - military rank decals. For every "level up" commander could be rewarded with ship/suit decal.
I dont mind paying little extra for cosmetics but such simple things could be easily obtainable by playing.

I wouldn't care for the Palin one but a Hutton mug decal would certainly be nice and I'd definitely want that Sag A* decal on my Asp!
I'm sure there is a technical reason for that but unfortunately decal placement is restricted to a few spots on the ships. If it was possible to place them freely you could plaster your ship with stickers of POIs you visited in the galaxy, like some people do on their camper vans...
