In game Bulletin Board system

why not have a BBS in ED where posters can put up stuff for others to read if they feel so inclined. Sections could be:
Bounties - for all those wanting someone dealt with
Jobs - post where people are asking for help
General Discussion's - where anything goes included coded transmission's

all in game like Galnet just bigger and better.

In game salt mine. Brilliant idea! Keeps it contained in places we can shoot at it. Lol


It would be cool. But placing bounites would be very exploitable I think. Or any kind of job for that matter. It's a shame people are people. Lol

I suppose you could have free-ads type thing.

Basically free jobs, things you can either do, or ruin for someone, where money doesn't get exchanged.
To prevent spam, only one job per CMDR at a time.

it would be down to the Cmdr to take the job on, posting and answering the posts is down to the Cmdr doing it. On the whole it would mean we don't have to leave the game to look at the forum

As long as it's all in game and in character, it'd be great. Exploration expeditions could be organized through it instead of it being a mostly meta experience. Also, it'd allow FDEV to be more interactive in game with the players in universe, reaching more people than those who just use the internet forum. It'd be part of the game.

Honestly I would LOVE to see an in game bulletin board for factions. Once you are allied with them you can post messages or whatever for other commanders who are allied with the factions to see.
