In game colors, for those of us that are colorblind....

There are several text based items in the game that contain red text on a black back ground. As someone that happens to have both types of color blindness [red/green and blue/yellow] I can only see about 12 colors and red [a dark color] on black [a really dark color] is almost impossible to see. Outlining the letters in yellow or very bright [not dark] green would be great. This also extends to the landing pad markers, most are ok, but the ones in Leonard Nimoy Station are practically invisible to me. I have looked for color options in the options menues and haven't seen them, they may be there I just haven;t found them. But I wanted to make this request to you all. As a new player so far I'm really liking the game and will probably expend a noteworthy percentage of life span playing it.

+thank

my vision is far worse than yours fellow commander, I do agree with you though. we shouldn't have to resort to third party tools or configuration editing to customize our color themes. In addition, Frontier could use it as an additional cash shop item. start with the default and a high contrast version with other variants as paid content. I'd happily spend money on more hud colors.

My vision gives me issues in other areas such as target tracking and mining but some will never be fixed due to design decisions made back in the early days. it's cool as I can avoid those activities but it would still be nice to know which one blip on a full radar is the one tearing apart my hull with the glee of a child ripping into a wrapped present on christmas morning... or at least be able to track it when I target it and wish to turn to retaliate.

at any rate, welcome to this dangerous galaxy and I hope you find enjoyment here :)
