In-game harrassment

So the Feds. I'm not their biggest fan. We've had a few run-ins, suffice it to say we're pretty unfriendly to each other, but not downright hostile.

Now, having been travelling through their space for most of the day I've been interdicted by those pencil necks about a dozen times, all allegedly 'routine checks'.

I'm feeling victimised by these fascists.

Or am I just paranoid?

But seriously speaking, interdictions are pretty much random. There are some days you will not be able to make a single jump without being interdicted and others where you will never be. Hang in tight.

All seriousness though, this usually happens if you are carrying illegal goods or have less then a neutral rep with them.

Funny, the Fedaralis haven't so much as looked at me funny for ages (apart from one minor indiscretion at a ring system involving a stray 72mm multi cannon round).

Wait til they're hostile. I was getting interdicted at least twice on every Supercruise run. So I joined the Navy, I'm a lieutenant now :)

I'm not joining those fascists - especially when they keep asking me to find combat stabilisers and I seem to be in the only neck of the woods where there are none. And...ermmm...of course it's the principle too!

Pirates have an excuse - they're pirates.

This is harrassment, pure and simple, by The Man. Completely unacceptable. I didn't vote these people in so they could hassle their electors? They need to remember who's the boss!

Look at it this way, you "could" potentially be doing something illegal, rather giving them the power to selectively target known criminals they look for potential ones too. This adds immersion as real life law enforcement practice this tatic aswell.

On topic: Alliance interdicts me all the time. I'm pretty sure its profiling.
Off topic: Got interdicted by an Elite pirate 'conda. I'd taken down a python recently so i was feeling confident. I only read his specs to the point I seen two shield banks. I hauled tail until my fsd charged. What a ride.

I spent two weeks skulking in Fedspace while "Hostile". It got to the point where the tension was killing me even when they weren't.

What's worrying me now that they have finally accepted my (very convincing) explanations regarding that little episode with the exploding security vessel...

is that I seem to have this little devil sitting on my shoulder saying "Do it again. Do it again. It was FUN!"

Getting interdicted actually became useful for a short while. I could go screaming along in SC. NOT slow down as I approached my target station. Just as I was about to overshoot some helpful cop would yank my out of SC. A couple of squirts of boost while the FSD cooled down to keep out of scan range and then back on my way only a couple of Ls away from my target. Much quicker than slowing down properly or overshooting having to come back round.

These health and welfare inspections are for your own good. You should be glad to know that the Federation has taken a keen interest in maintaining your safety. Just drop your throttle, slip out of Supercruise and enjoy the pleasant conversation as a break from what would otherwise have been an extremely hectic day. Good citizens have nothing to fear.

Funny I have been interdicted just a few times since the interdiction patch and that was by real pilots I think.
Maybe I'm too clean.
