Currently the only way to see what category of dino's are compatible/non compatible is to go to a Hatchery, but as you can see in the picture, it lists the category and not the actual dino names. I don't know how many people learn what category every dino fits into but i'm not one of them. :giggle:

If there could:
1- Be a list of dino names not category &
2- Be available when clicking on a dino and not just in a hatchery that would be wonderful.

:)

Given that there are a total of 88 animals in the game (90 if you include the 2 new ones come the 8th, more if and/or when we get additional dlc), that would be... a very long list. So maybe to add on, you could click on the name of the category of dinosaur, and then be given a list of what dinosaurs in that category includes. That way The likes and dislikes list for land dinosaurs aren't anywhere near as long.

Oh yeah, any way they go about it is fine, but I was just thinking if the Species Viewer will have it. I was just looking at a post here and am hoping maybe the category they fit in is listed there. I guess we'll see on Tuesday 🤞

Yeah, I remember that from the first game.

It looks like the category of dino can be seen when you click on it. I clicked on my Drax and on the 5th tab mentions it. \o/

Think its needs to be updated.

Different sauropod species coexisted at the same time and place, with the sauropods of the Morrison Formation for example. Same for ceratopsians and ankylosaurids found one another in different Cretaceous-age formations.
