In-game mentors. is it working as intended or am I missing something?

My nephew is interested in getting ED for the PS4 so I decided to show him the ropes on PC. I'd been thinking about starting over with a new commander so it kinda kills two birds with one stone. Anyway, I started the game and got the usual "Welcome Commander" intro mission to fly to Dahan. So I did this to show him how the basic controls work, how to complete missions and so on.

When the mission was completed I got a message that says that a new player can go to other stations with mentors on them and these were:

LP-132, Freeport for trade
Sytx, Boyle Terminal for combat
Eranin, Azeban City for exploration
Aulin, Kuo City for planetary missions

We decided on Freeport and headed there, but I could find no evidence of a mentor at the station. There was no message and a look at the mission board didn't show anything that was an obviously a tutorial or mentor mission. So, either something didn't trigger or I'm having a blonde moment and have missed something... Should I flag it as a bug?

I was going to walk him through each one.

Needless to say he's still going to buy the game, as I can talk him through most of the stuff. But I'm a little concerned that other new players might find this a bit confusing.

You're not the first to post something like this. I can't help much since I have no way of re-starting :)

But yes, definitely log it as a bug. It will get more attention that way.

They should appear as a faction in the mission board. They will offer normal missions as well as the tailored starter ones. The only real difference is they give some helpful extra text to help complete the mission. If you are not seeing them then it could well be a bug.
