In-Game Music vs Personal Tracks

Normally I play the game and record/post videos using in-game music, because I think the devs have done a fantastic job with the audio. But...

I've got a huge music library of 80's glam/stadium rock. Is it cool to post vids with BOTH, the 80's music on top of the game music?

WTH, I'm going with it. Stand by for incoming...

Just mute the game music!

I switch between game and own music depending.

True...Just checked...I did not know that you could MUTE just the game music. Thanks Jakester13. If I see you in-game I will try very hard to protect you!

Plus the two different music tracks playing on top of each other may get muddled sounding.
Give us something good to listen too....

So, here's what happened. YouTube muted two of my videos because the replacement music was copyrighted (The Fifth Element soundtrack, and some Van Halen, not exactly Top 40 performers or Kanye West).

Back to in-game music for vids.

When you upload a video, it should prompt you about copyright stuff, and just go along with it.
It's how i got awful Katy Perry music to play along to my awful cat video when i was experimenting with video editing. Lol

Been meaning to make a ED video for years, but i need a new graphics card in order to record anything without it dropping to 10fps...

You can check about the use of a specific track in the Video Editor (or whatever it's called, don't remember). There's a page where you just have to type your track and it'll show you if it's free to use, if the owner can put an ad before your vid, or if it's forbidden, and for which countries. Quite often, you can use an Y version of a song, because X is locked, even though they're the exact same song (but not published by the same publisher).
