In game Music

What type of music would you like to see for Planet Coaster? I don't mean themed music that you would associate with rides (like medieval music for a castle roller coaster). Instead I mean stuff like menu music and songs that play when you're normally zoomed out.

In my opinion, one of the best soundtracks in any creative game has to go to Simcity 4. I've always been into ambient music when I design and make rides because it just puts you in that mindset. From the last couple of trailers though, I noticed there's a lot of guitars. I would like it if in the game, there were a few slower songs were you could just switch of your mind and really get into the mood.

What genre's of music do you find most fitting for this type of game? Post you're suggestions

idk about that music, it doesn't really feel like your going into a theme park game...

I mean, I always use custom music in my parks and as my background music (Flying from the 2003 Peter Pan, same song they used for a while as the Disneyland Paris ad music) but this track just says "casual, relaxed, take your time and create" to me.

This is why "Build mode" in the sims is great, it's just a calm and relaxing music to build. Not a "theme park music".

Yeah, same, it's good up until then. I mean, it all sort of fits with the theme of the song, but it's a lot more relaxing before that guitar swells in.

I guess what I'm hoping for at this point is something cinematic, like the ambient music that plays around the entrance of Disneyland.

The sound poeple from Frontier are amazing. They are going to make/find some great music.

True, I really don't have a issue with all they have done for Elite Dangerous. So it will be cool to see what they will do. So we will find out, I hope the create all new stuff for this game for sure.
