I was doing some engineering mods with Lei Cheung on the planet Laksak A1 and decided to take a closer look at the planet's interesting surface afterwards. It's quite amber/yellow and pocked with craters and white areas on its surface.
I took off from Trader's Rest (his base) and flew for a few minutes before landing again and deploying my SRV. After expending a number of materials during the engineering process, it's a pretty ok place to pick up some elemental materials (Rhenium, Selenium, Nickel, Niobium, and several other common ones)
It's kind of fun to drive around on the surface of A1. You can cruise at high speeds over the relatively flat areas only to find yourself at an abrupt crater-edge and suddenly "airborne" over the crater. (I know, there's no air.)

...but lo and behold, that's not the most interesting find.
There's a ship wreck on the planet! Hey Lei - this is right in your back yard, dude! It can't be too old; there's still smoke billowing from the wreckage.
I believe that this is a DBS; it has a Lakon marking on it. That's my SRV in the image. you can also see some of the cargo canisters left behind the ship as it plowed into the surface. I inspected the wreckage for any escape pods but none were evident.
If you'd like to check out the site, I believe that you should find it here:
Those are the coordinates shown on the SRV display.
