Long time fan of Elite, Frontier, and FFE. I used to subscribe to the alt.fan.elite forums a long time ago. I have been checking out the forums here, and it is nice to know that there are still people around that have a soft spot for the Elite series of games. I used to own the original Elite back in the day for the C-64 (long gone now), and I still own Frontier even though it won't run on any newer system. Never could find the CD version of FFE, but I played it for a bit after it became shareware. The amount of detail and work that went into this series of games amazes me even today, and nothing since that I have played has even come remotely close. Anyways, now with the formalities out of the way...here is my problem. I absolutely love the music that goes with these games, and I have seen the youtube revamped opening sequence video for Frontier (absolutely astounding cinematic sequence). For some reason, I can't download the mp3 from the author's website with the link I was given.....I don't know if it is a Netscape thing or what.......I was wondering if anyone had this music and if they could send it to me somehow? For that matter, has anyone made updated versions of any of the other music from these games? Not the classical music, just the original pieces from Frontier, and FFE?
