General / Off-Topic In praise of critical thinkers on the forum

Last thread from OP was a lot of fun, but I don't think there is anything more that could be said.
Did we really need another one?

Not really, but it gives the rest of us something to do while we wait for Chris Roberts to release a playable game. :D

I know it probably makes me a horrible person, but hanging out in one of OP's threads trading zingers with the rest of the forum is actually pretty fun. It's light-hearted anarchy.

I think the OP should start a poll about who are the greatest critics of Frontier and Elite in general.

Nice to see a well thought out effort this time; although a little brief, at less then 100 words. A marked improvement over the normally generally abusive and ranting threads, we find started by them. At the same time and as always, it does lack any real content; apart from a calling to arms of every critic, that Frontier has. There is not a single aspect of the game, the OP has focused on, for the said criticism and so I'll give it a generous four out of ten; mostly for restraint and lessons learnt from enquiries made in their thread on 'how to criticise a game', made last week.

It bears pointing out that criticism and feedback are not critical thinking; they can be utterly devoid of it in fact.
I'd even suggest that is a much more common form of criticism.

Quite ironic really considering you were asking about intelligible not balanced. :D :D etc...

This just comes across like a cult member explaining why anyone outside the cult doesn't understand "anything".

There is obvious bias on the forum against critics of the game from all directions - but if the forum members/unbiased moderators say otherwise then it can't be so...

As the thread seems to be pretty much full of trolling it's going to be closed.
