I'm already "Horizon'd" out from watching so many vids. :/ Hopefully my first actual landing will feel new, but every time I watch a video on it I get a feeling of "been there, done that" when I actually haven't.

I haven't been watching many Horizons videos.. happy I didn't make that mistake now.

As soon as i saw the trailer i went and watched all of them. I might of watched the landing one about three times just to be safe. Very excited!! c:

No matter how many times I watch an Horizons video, it will never get rid of that "new" feeling for me. Actually being in-game, even though I've seen it plenty of times, I still just can't picture actually being able to go and land on a planet in my game. Still seems unreal to me.

I guess I shouldn't be so tired of it yet. I've yet to experience the shock of saying "Oooh I can land on this!", the awe when I begin the approach, and the horror when I die in a blaze of glory upon the spectacular meeting between ship and ground.

Never really watched horizons video's because of same reasons..

I had that attitude when I first downloaded ED, then after I wasted the first 30mins of the trial, unsuccessfully shooting at the toxic barrels in the first training mission I went to the vids to realise I needed to target them first (face palm)

Its fairly thread bare at the moment. But you guys will have a load of extra content added straight up when it launches in console.

I watched a LOT of Elite Dangerous on youtube before I got the game. Those videos didn't spoil a thing, only thing they did was help me start higher up the learning curve.

Watching it and feeling it are two different things.

Just want to throw it out there that anyone on the forum is welcome to add me to their forum buddy list & PM me any questions they might have about the basics of flying over planets.

As you all know, it's a daily experience for me, so I know a fair bit.
