I am up 677022 (Meter)? 667 Km is form here to Paris... unlikely that this is possible

Perhaps things like CZ are included?

Well it is a fair old trek to get to the cockpit in some of the ships, and there is also strolling around the stations to take into account.

Alternatively it is in cm.

they got them and they have to use them

i have 541km in SRV and 549,584 on-foot - which seems legit

Edit: did some tests.
Codex reports 549584
got out of the ship, did 100m in one direction then back to shop (boarding circle was about 11-12m from ship centre marker), so approximately 178m
relogged, Codex listed 549942 ???
got out of the ship, did 61 meters and then back to the ship, so approximately 100m and relogged
Codex is listing 550170 (relogged once more, still 550170)
Disembarked and got back in the ship, relogged - no extra distance, Codex still show 550170
Disembarked, moved just out of the circle and back, reloggeg, Codex shows 550176
Disembarked, walked in a direction till the hud ship marker indicated 100m, then moved back, boarded the ship when hud indicator listed 11m distance from ship.
relogged and Codex was listed, 550534
Disembarked, Run* in a direction till the hud ship marker indicated 100m, then Run* back, boarded the ship when hud indicator listed 11m distance from ship.
relogged and Codex was listed, 550888

So lets say 100-11+100-11= 178m distance run/walk = approximately 355 measurement in Codex (354 last instance, 358 ante-last instance)

So... they are 0.5m steps
