I am sorry if this has been asked / answered already, but there are far too many threads to search though.
My question is this, in a world where we have space ships, interstellar flight, Space trading ports orbiting planets..... Why do we seemingly carry our credits on our spacecraft? Has Paypal not reached this universe yet?
My point being, why (when our ship gets destroyed), does our money reset back to 1,000Cr ? If we have insurance policy's that grant us a replacement ship, then this means time is not being reset, we are moving on in real time. So that being said surely our credits are stored in some galactic bank, and would CONTINUE to be made available to us?
I spent a few hours today running multiple trade routes, and made alot of credits, then due to one pilot who did not know where his landing bay was, decided to land on my ship at the very moment I was about to take off. Destroying both of us.
When I came back in my insurance provided ship, I was back to 1,000Cr.
That is a bit unfair.
