Inara and ED Market Connector

So I just wanna know if this is safe to use it.
I did install it and it asked me to log in on frontier. I didn't have to type the email/password because the website remember my login information.

Is there any risk for my account? I should be removing and changing password?

Been using it since about a week after buying the game (3ish years ago). Never had an issue.

Short: yes, it's safe.

If in doubt, you can check out EDMCs source code and compile it yourself from GitHub.

Slightly longer: that's the reason for the login at FD's API server. This way, EDMC (or INARA) don't need to know your credentials.
Oh, and that wasn't the FD server that remembered your login - that was your browser.
