Inara doesn't list ship jump range?

Hi Cmdrs
Just a quicky. Does Inara not list jump range in the shipyard tab? I can't see it and would have thought it would be one of the most important values.
I know Coriolis does, but I wonder how put of date it is, does it even list the Chieftain. There are other sites to get info but Inara is quite handy.

The only truly accurate answer is "it depends" on too many variables, I'm pretty sure mine does about 25 ly with a fairly well upgraded drive and some lightweight bits. So that's probably around maximum give or take a few ly.

Edit : from the wiki max upgraded range is 26.43ly (again results may vary)

No it doesn't. Jump range depends on your outfitting, engineering, cargo and fuel carried. Inara's shipyard seems to present fixed data, not actual builds like Coriolis or ED shipyard.

Coriolis is pre 3.0 .. it takes them a while to implement changes and maybe waiting to see if the nerf bat hits anything.
if you take the Coriolis max engineered jump range and add 10% you wont be far off

Thanks all.
It's just that Inara lists the ships with standard modules installed, I just thought they would give you the jump range with the items installed as listed and not engineered, just to give you a starting value to work from.

Coriolis lists the generic "max" jump range (which I've used as a KPI on my BluePrints)

But it's VERY dependent.

For example, the base Sidewinder
7.79ly Max (without fuel in the tank - a theoretical figure obviously)
7.56 Unladen
6.96 with 4T cargo

But with a little synthesis, I could jump 15.12ly with the same ship and 30.24ly with synthesis from a neutron star cone using cone boost.

Then..

I strip the ship to just Core Internals and go for D Rated across with board with a A Rated FSD. Now my unladen range is 23.62 and my synth+neutron range is 94.48ly.

Then..

I engineer the FSD to grade 5, then run lightweight mods with "stripped down" effect on all the other core internals and I would be looking at a jump range of 36.65ly or better with a synth+neutron range of over 140Ly.

But who wants a shieldless Sidey without scanners? Makes a great galactic taxi, but not much else.

So it really depends on the ship, the base range, the modules used, the function of the ship, the level and number of Engineers you have access to and how much time you are prepared to throw at one ship to eek out every last light year.
