Horizons Inara ranks explained?

This is probably a stupid thing to ask but could anyone explain all of the ranks to me on Inara and what they can do so basically the ones like Flight leader, I know of course there are in charge of a flight but what is a flight? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Edit: I mean the wing ranks/promotions.

I hope the following info below helps, but I can only answer part of your question...

INARA -> CMDR's LOG -> RANK AND ACHIEVEMENTS ...this section has Ranks listed that are based upon the Elite Dangerous system:
Combat Ranks:
Harmless -> Mostly Harmless -> Novice -> Competent -> Expert -> Master -> Dangerous -> Deadly -> Elite

Trade Ranks:
Penniless -> Mostly Penniless -> Peddler -> Dealer -> Merchant -> Broker -> Entrepreneur -> Tycoon -> Elite

Exploration Ranks:
Aimless -> Mostly Aimless -> Scout -> Surveyor -> Trailblazer -> Pathfinder -> Ranger -> Pioneer -> Elite
...all these stats that you can add to your INARA profile to show what you have accomplished so far in the Elite Dangerous game

In the RANK AND ACHIEVEMENTS section there is also "Reputation and powerplay" & "Other" sections which covers Reputation, Powerplay, & Custom this to remember like systems visited & other things of importance to you personally...but these are not RANKS.

Hopefully some one else can answer the part of your question dealing with "Flight Leader" as I do not see that rank listed in the RANK AND ACHIEVEMENTS section...but this may be a "RANK" given by a specific player group or "WING" ...hopefully someone else can provide an explanation)
