Incorrect notifications keep popping up.

I keep getting a notification that "multiple shops are not accessible from the park entrance" and "such and such ride is not accessible from the park entrance" How ever people are using the shops and buying things and people are queuing for the ride.

Seems like an error, anyone else getting this?

I have seen this before ...

Sometimes it happens it path's are not properly connected but are close enough that guests can walk on them.
It occurs to me especially when the terrain is a bit uneven.

So actually i think the notification is correct, and the paths are indeed not connected. But close enough to work fine for guests.
(Sometimes its quite near impossible to see if it's connected properly)

Yeah, as Vampiro says, peeps can cross gaps in paths that are very small. It can cause problems, however. For instance, I once had a restroom that was adjacent to a section of gridded path in the next square. Shops can't autoconnect to adjacent gridded paths so there was a narrow gap between the restroom and the gridded path. Peeps were still using the restroom, crossing the gap on the way in. HOWEVER, it only worked in 1 direction. Peeps coming out of the restroom were teleported to the park entrance.

But there's also another thing that can cause this message. Are you, by chance, using any blueprint shops (Workshop or stock?) Many of these have multiple shops in them facing different directions. If you don't know there are other shops around the back, you might only connect the one(s) on the front. Those will be used just fine but you'll get messages about the one(s) on the back not being connected.

I had this problem with the stock pirate restroom building. This is like a 3x2 building that has 2 restrooms in it, one centered on each long side, facing opposite directions. I didn't realize this at first so was only connecting one of the restrooms, and couldn't figure out why I was getting notified of a restroom not being connected.

It's a shame the old feature of centering the camera on the event with a click isn't in PC

It's a shame you don't know what you're talking about :D But hey, you're too busy always slamming PC to bother learning how it works. So to help you in that regard, I offer the following:

In PC, notifications do in fact have the option of taking you to the scene with a click. The only ones that don't are group notifications like "multiple shops aren't connected", which of course can't take you to a single spot anyway. But you only get those group notifications if you've ignored all the individual notifications for each such shop that have already come up, and which would have taken you to a specific place if you'd bothered to read them.

But all is not lost. The individual notifications are still there. You just have to open the list, then let them take you to each shop.

Sorry about that.

I apologise for my carelessness, let me clarify what I wrote

"It's a shame, IN THIS CASE, the old feature of centering the camera on the event with a click isn't in PC"

I thought it was self explanatory by the context of the chat, my apologies bullethead 👍

Hmm, you edited this post since I saw it originally. But no matter. I'll play along.

You still seem to be mistaken on how things work in PC. But OTOH, I never played RCT3. So, I must ask you.... Back in RCT3 days, did you ever get messages along the lines of "multiple things (rides, shops, whatever) have X problem"? And when you clicked on that one message about multiple things, did it take you on a tour of all the things it was referring to?

If you got such group-related messaged in RCT3, and clicking on them did in fact take you on a tour of all things having that problem, then I apologize to you. It would indeed be a shame that PC doesn't have that feature if it was once part of the game.

HOWEVER, if RCT3 didn't have such group-related messages at all, OR if clicking on them did not take you on a tour of all things having that problem, then your statement about it being a shame PC doesn't have this RCT3 feature is a complete falsehood, and you own everybody here, including the devs, an apology.

Deal?

No deal, you're using hyperbole and have put words in my mouth. I didn't say RCT3 did anything.

Yes, I edited my post, I need to be careful what I say, I'm not in the right camp so the rules apply to me :p

And just curious, what do you mean by "play along"? It's an aside so feel free to PM me.

some blueprinted shops have 2 on the same building, for example, i think there is 1 pirate themed bathroom that actually has 2 bathroom (one is at the back)
so double check to make sure they are all connected.

sometimes, you ride is in a scetion of the park that peeps cant reach. The paths are sometimes looking okay, but if you see guests waving theirs hands, that mean they are somehow (and for no reason) stuck
