Increase distance between bins when automatically added

When you're creating a path and you want it to automatically add bins it would be really nice to increase the distance between them. Having to delete them is time consuming so I don't plan on using that feature.

You can I think, from 4 up to 12 meters, both, left, right or alternating, but maybe that was added later than your post?

What I find strange is that I can't alternate between benches and bins (its either bins or benches) and why the auto tool is able to place bins on a slope/stairs and I am not. If the game has the ability to do it, why limit it to that tool? Or is the tool placing them on slopes/stairs a bug?

Correct. Yes you can space them out and I think you're right about the 12m also. You can make them alternate along the path instead of being on both sides consistently as shown above
