In the first movie, I had not liked the egocentricity of the United States which save the world, but I had appreciated the movie for the beautiful images and the good history. The trailer of the second movie is excellent. I hope that the movie will be deeper, less wacky on some scenes

Quite a foreboding trail .. no wonder US citizens feel it's necessary to be armed at all times rolleyes I hope there's some fun in it too; the rolling of eyes, when Randy Quaid's Russell K wanted payback for being "abducted by aliens" in the past, clearly still not being believed despite the aliens overhead, was a great moment for me. (As well as Brent Spiner's hippy scientist.)

Let me know when there's a Dredd 2 trailer? Thanks muchly

Will Smith has already died in a plain crash thing.

Super. He didn't gotta get me one of these

I just have a feeling that this sequel is going to try to take the issue seriously.

The original worked because though it tried so hard to be serious, the tongue in cheek humour was always there, mostly from Will Smith.

Watching it, I was under the impression that is exactly what they were aiming at. A basically terrible plot made better with a load of ham.

Perhaps the Oscars whatever didn't like fancy being humiliated.
