The Independent Pilots Intelligence Bureau (IPIB) is a 40+ player-run intelligence and counter-intelligence organization that works to collect, analyze and use gathered information.
Within our group we have operatives and analysts who work with different organizations, sectors of the galaxy and perform various specialty work.
The main goals of IPIB are;
Protect and safe-guard specific groups, squadrons or players against other player attempts at espionage, sabotage or hacking attempts.
Protect information that might impact or influence the player-base (we classify this an Intragalactic Secret)
Consult group and squadron leadership about active or potential threats against them.
Gain and analyze information from HUMINT and OSINT sources and prognose potential events.
Some of our goals are classified to the general public. Information is shared with those who only need it.
So why this post?
As Elite has expanded, the organization has also been expanding but does not expand fast enough to cover our requirements in the bubble for intelligence gathering and analysis. Therefore, we have decided to go public. Think of this a recruitment drive. With that being said, we're not worried much about how this will impact the group while we are aware some players might be shocked, confused or disbelieving of the group itself.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for players with good game knowledge, highly communicable, ability to improvise, analyze information and create reports that model possible events based on that information.
We're NOT a roleplay group. Everything is done for real.

All IPIB members never reveal their true identity nor ways to contact IPIB directly. Authorized members will contact you independently. With this forum thread and the directors account, we will inform you with a unique validation code that proves our connection to the Bureau. Any DMs that claim to be from IPIB without sending you a message from this account via DM or this thread is an impersonator.
