I've been playing for a couple days outside VR without any issues, however when launching it in VR (Valve Index) the game has a serious double-vision/split-vision problem, where I see two of everything reasonably far apart, even in menus, adjusting any headset sliders or ingame options made no difference.
I installed EDProfiler and launched it through that and actually got it working first try, played a few hours in VR without any issues, so I thought "great" - but when I launch it again today I have the same double vision issues.
I've tried:
resetting my graphics back to full defaults
completely reinstalling ED and SteamVR
launching via the client directly, steam and EDPRofiler
setting "renderCameraMode":"raw" and "renderCameraMode":"parallel" in SteamVR settings
but I can't seem to find what the problem is or what got it working the one successful launch I've had, I've seen similar issues reported with the pimax but almost nobody with similar complaints about the Index.
The issue is only clear when actually in VR, but I can get a pretty decent estimate of what it looks like using the "both eyes, (left/right) dominant" setting in the desktop VR display: Source: https://i.imgur.com/UA9ETrl.png
If anyone has seen this before or has any ideas for things I can try it would be much appreciated.
