My friends keep your fingers crossed for these animals especially the Leopard I’m desperately wanting a new species of Leopard since we won’t be getting the African Leopard.

Yes. Here's what I'd do (basing it off of my favorite book/s, the Jungle Books):

1. Sloth bear (Baloo)
2. Indian leopard (Bagheera)
3. Indian wolf (the wolf pack [the red dog made it])
4. Indian gray mongoose (Rikki-Tikki Tavi)
5. Rock python (E) (Kaa)

- Indian leopard.
- Grey langur.
- Nilgai.
- Indian cobra.

We do already have a fully fleshed-out Indian-themed building set, though, so I'm not sure what else they could add to such a DLC. Maybe a broader "South Asia Animal Pack" would work better, including the Middle East.

Thats pack is super solid, i would only exchange the leopard for the gray mongoose, as we are in dire need of more small animals and the meercats have proven that their size can work in the game.

With the pack i would kind of agree, i personally am not the biggest fan of the animal packs and feel like the SEA pack was a waste, eventhough i actually liked all the animals, but more pieces and foliage are the real hghlight of the dlcs for me, but as you allready said there allready is an indian theme.
The best workaround that would also please a lot of people would be a kind of modern india/city set, which would concentrate on more general items themed around being in a big city instead of the classic temple pieces we allready have in game, maybe even with a new indian railway as a transport ride. Im sure leafproduction would love that one in particular

I don't know why, but mongooses never jump out at me. Probably because I'm just not that experienced with them as I am with other species, but I'm comfortable with the meerkat filling that niche. And despite myself, I still would really like a leopard. I'd happily swap out the nilgai I think, but I'm sold on the blackbuck, as it would be a good mix with the Indian rhinoceros as well.

Since we already have an Indian theme in the game why not going for an Animal Pack ?
For me:

3. Asiatic Lion
4. Gaur or Water Buffalo
5. Blackbuck
6. Chital
7. Grey Langur

I'm going to put a list of animals that nobody has put yet

• Nilgiri tahr (Endangered)

• Indian wild donkey (Near Threatened)

• Tibetan antelope or chiru (Near Threatened)

• Himalayan Wolf (Critically Endangered)

• Giant Squirrel (one of these species) [Black giant squirrel or Malayan giant squirrel (Near Threatened); Indian giant squirrel or Malabar giant squirrel (Least Concern)]

• Gooty sapphire ornamental (Critically Endangered) [exhibition]

• Barasingha, also called swamp deer (Vulnerable)

• Tockay Gecko (Least Concern)

If they add birds in the future, I would put these on my list

• Oriental dwarf kingfisher (Least Concern)

• Painted stork (Near Threatened)
