Infinate hatch breaker limpets for NPCs?

I know that NPCs cheat in many ways.

One of them I've noticed while doing a lot of combat is RES lately (for the CGs). I see many NPCs firing hach breaker limpets at other ships. Recently I saw a FDL fire around 100 hatch breaker limpets one after the other (about one every couple of seconds) at a ship which was mining.

Kinda wonder where it was storing those.

Also, when I saw a ship getting ganged up on by a bunch of ships, a flurry of hatch breaker limpets would attack the ship, trying to get in, almost like a Thargon swarm but less organized. Maybe that's one small reason that the RES session slow to a crawl within about 30 minutes of being in them.

In general, while doing a lot of combat lately I've seen so many bugs is RES sites which I don't think were there a year or two ago. Frontier really needs to do a debug pass on this stuff!

Synthesis. Every NPC can theoretically have, at a minimum, 120+4 limpets as long as it has at least one size 2 cargo bay.

Do they actually use synthesis? I don't know, but they act like they can.

Interesting point .. but they're quite talented if they can synthesize them and keep firing them at a rate of one every two or three seconds. ;)
