Infinite Guests?

Bit of a cheat.

For each ride addition to the park, about 200+ guests will start coming to your park (4 rides, ~ 800guests). Rides or coasters that are unfinished also count towards this, so If you want more guests to come to your park, then you can just place coaster stations under the ground (for each station built, an extra 200 guests will arrive).

Tested this before, Pretty sure I got to 13k guest then the game started to glitch out hard [up]

Yeah, give me an hour or so and I'll have some pictures up. Also, I could see it starting to lag and glitch out after a good amount of guests are within the park.
Tomorrow I'll actually post a video of it as well.

Never mind, posting pictures seems to be a bit of a pain here. I could still post a video of it and put it up on YouTube, unless you wanted to try it out yourself and confirm that it also works for you.

Welp [noob], that worked pretty well lol, thanks.

So 5 photos, first showing the 11 rides above ground, which should be equivalent to about 2200 guests; I already have a decent amount of coasters underground so it is at 5400. The next three photos showing the coaster being placed under ground, guest count at 5400. Last photo confirming that the coaster station is underground with only 11 rides above ground still. Now even after a few attempts on the same file, once the coaster was placed, the guest count started to increase up to around 5450 guests but then actually started decreasing, eventually reaching around 5350 guest for 2 in game hours, before it finally started its climb to 5600 guests; this was the first time that's happened so perhaps the game may be reaching a guest limit? So after an entire game day, the guest count increased to 5600. Now I'm not exactly sure when the max amount of guests will be reached but I'll post again to this thread once I get there.

I kind of wish it didn't work like this, it seems like the game has a flat number of guests who come in for each type of ride. I would hope it gets a bit more advanced than that by full release. Number of rides should be a factor, multiplied by park rating or something similar which factors in ride excitement, park cleanliness, scenery, food/drink variety, guest satisfaction/happiness, ride popularity, and overall value. Of course number of rides IS important, but I would want it to be multiplied by everything else rather than a simple matter of addition. That way when a park gets bigger and more well-established, adding one new ride can significantly increase the number of people in the park.

Couldnt have put it better myself

Whose to say how it will work on final release?

Right now, we have none of the "factors" you list, except one. The number of rides. [bored]

I didn't say it won't work like that, I'm just providing what I think would be the ideal system, and who knows? Maybe there's am even smarter way of doing things that we don't even know about. I just don't really like the way it is now, but I'm fairly optimistic about it.

The 200 guest count per ride is just while things are in Alpha. They have to get guests into the park somehow.

We don't have any of the park management stuff yet. That is coming in future updates.
