Info Centre Audio Guides - how do they currently work?

Hi all,

Great news about the update and I'm actually really keen to see the new education breakdown. Quick question though - I hadn't even really thought about audio guides as a tool to increase education rating. I am in game now and can't find anywhere with data on audio guide sales and unlike umbrellas or adoptions I haven't seen any turn up in peeps inventories. Does anyone know if they do appear there? Or can you see people using them in game? At the moment the only people who seem to be using my information shops are guests going home buying adoption packs.

Obviously this will change with the update anyway but I am just curious if lowering the price of audio guides now might increase my education rating.

The education boards are items you place round your zoo much like the animal information boards , Then you click on it and choose what topic you want it to show

There are also speakers you can place by habitats and like the animal boards you click on them and choose the animal you want it to give out information about
You also set the range you want them to be hearable from

Thanks Bobble but I understand those tools for getting the education rating higher. It's specifically the audio guides sold in the info shop that I was trying to work out how many guests were buying. In the new update notes it says the new guest education tab will tell me more I was just curious how they currently work. I've messed around a bit this afternoon and a very small number of peeps do seem to buy them (I turned off all the other items in an info shop and still had some sales) but it seems like a really small number even with a very cheap price which is a little disappointing.

I also find it weird that there seems to be no way of telling when a guest has bought one - they don't appear in their inventory and even the umbrellas only appear when they are actually being used. I would like to know about sales of those types of items because otherwise I can't price them properly. That may be fixed in the update but for feedback to Frontier if you could put them on individual peeps inventories as well that would be great.

I'm wondering the same thing. I didn't even know Audio Guides were a thing until this new update. There's a section in the "Zoo" menu (New icon at the bottom on the left) specifically for education and my new zoo that i've created since the update is in year 33 and I've never sold a single audio guide. I have zero idea how they work and folks don't seem to be talking about it much.
