Hello Commanders,

I am still harmless in Elite Dangerous. When I first started at LHS3447. I started collecting information and used Google Sheets for quick accessibility
Is this practical or over done?

I keep a ships log in a paper note book if that helps you decide on your problem. I detail things like trade routes, mining locations, good bounty hunting spots and factions/civil wars found.

If it works for you, it works for you. Just like in real life, I virtually never take notes on anything and am quite happy with that, but if you find it useful to have a searchable database of your own garnered information then do that.
