Inhabited Space.

I have been watching one pf ChaosWolf's exploration series. One question has arisen in my mind. What are the limits of "Inhabited Space"?I know there are Aliens out there somewhere, but watching the vids i see Star Systems that have no Bases/Stations etc. Also there are Terraformable Planets, will these ever be Terraformed?Or are we really restricted to the Bubble for Inhabited Systems?

The answer to the question is basically, the bubble is for now where its at. Colonia which is an offshoot of the bubble 22,000ly from the bubble is just coming on line with new bases/stations, at the end of the day its up to FDev to add new bases/stations. Its not player determined.

Approx. 4000 ly cubed which is, 64000000000 ly.

Just remember to grab a good fuel scoop if you're going outside of it

Also practice using a fuel scoop and recognising scoopable stars using OBAFGKM or KGBFOAM. T Tauri stars look like they should be scoopable, but they're not. The galaxy map is filterable for scoopable stars now which makes route planning a lot more straightforward than it used to be.

Well, in a way it is player determined.

Colonia is actually there because of players, and how they play, and dealt with Jaques station.

But indeed, in the end, its Frontier that need to code the stations in the game.

Now, with 2.3, they made it easier to move, and add more stations serverside. There is no patch needed anymore to add stations.
