Inner Anarchy Systems - no stations?

Yesterday I took a good 12-15 jumps in towards the galactic center from HIP 85141 which is at the edge of the systems with any faction alignment. I noticed that there were no stations in sight, so I wanted to pose the following questions before I start my exploratory pilgrimage in earnest:

  1. Is it safe to assume that as I move in I will see no more space stations in which to repair/sell (I have a fuel scoop)?
  2. If there are no more systems, am I safe to log out in space?
  3. If I die, is my cartographic data lost or does it stay with me?
  4. Does the price of the cart data go up based upon the station's distance from the system?
