Ship’s speakers that sound like tannoys sometimes!

Yes just as they fake up all the other audio effects in rings or wrecked ships in space, we evolved to pick up audio cues for directions and other stuff and we seem to work better with them so they add them via the speakers.

Well ... Technically sound on planets could be transmitted through ground vibrations transplanting to the SRV that could act as a resonator box. This cannot be said about explosions in space ...

Even when there is no atmosphere the ships slow down when you drop the landing gear.
Must be the drag caused by all that dark matter.

Or a lockout of the thrusters in the ship when the gear comes down as a safety mechanism
