INRA is attacking Federation and Empire ships with the mycoid.

Commanders.
INRA is the responsible for the attacks on both the Federation and Empire vessels.
INRA is working to supplant the major powers of the Federation and the Empire by instigating a war driven by the ignorance of us commanders.
The so-called instances of Thargoids destroying first Federation vessels and latterly Empire ships are nothing but INRA using the Mycoid virus on humans.
Their hope, which has been borne out, is to start an arms race which rapidly escalates in to a Thargoid versus human conflict.
The two major powers stand powerless and their destruction will occur with only one (or perhaps) two winners; INRA and perhaps the Alliance.
Blind Pew has had this right all along.
By fighting the Thargoids you are doing their bidding.

Fake news... :)

Cool theory. Until I see evidence, ammonia based life forms are still KOS. Wouldn't surprise me if it were true though. Would be a nice twist.

I mean - talk about hiding in plain sight - I. N. R. A. stands for "It's Not Really Aliens".... I'll leave that one with you

(annoyingly though, this does run contrary to my 'Fake News' point... dammit)

...And you were so close, too. The tinfoil hat was a bit too small, and was cutting off circulation to my head. By removing it, you may have saved a life today!

Yeah, viruses are really known to work well on metal, aren't they? It only works on Thargoid vessels because they're biomechanical. It's not acid, it's bird flu. Or mantis flu. Whatever. I don't care.

I'm still wondering when the loss of Starship One and the return of once-president Jasmina Halsey will figure into the storyline. Since the ship was lost, apparently while jumping, we could assume it was hyperdicted...

And didn't FD, during the Expo, say they weren't quite finished with the "Guardians" just yet?

Quite like Blind pews videos, can't remember any mention of INRA being involved. Why are there Thargoid ships nearby every time I visit a damaged or destroyed Megaship? Just innocently in the neighbourhood ready to recue poor souls floating around in escape pods :)

Definitely some form of twist to all of this, not quite sure I can believe your theory though. Also leave the Alliance alone, at least until they release the Chieftain!

Alright then.

First, the spanking.

Then after the spanking, the [redacted].

;)

Can't I have just a little bit of peril?

No! It's too perilous!

Oh go on.

No!

Bet you're <redacted>

No, I'm not!?

By the way, @OP...
