'Installation in Progress'

My installation seems to be stuck on the start menu, the one with 'open' 'private group' 'solo' 'arena' all highlighted in red and stubbornly remaining at 41%,
its been like this for ages now and doesn't seem to be changing. Is it just the sheer volume of people trying to install? Does the red mean its not working at all?
Anyone help?

My client updated just fine this morning, but I haven't started it yet to get in. You should not be at the menu at this point. Hit the big Xbox button on your controller, go to Home, hit the little index button and choose quit. That will kill the program from running. Go to you Games and Apps, look in the Queue to see if ED is still installing. If nothing is in the Queue, it's all downloaded and installed.

I had this....but the update had finished, whereas the start menu kept report Installing at 73 %.....did cache clear [ Hold XBox button on Consol till shut down - Power Lead Out for 10 secs ] hard reset to clear it. Now works fine
