Newcomer / Intro installing for the first time

the installer gives me like 4 things to install..i assume i just go in order right?

base game, horizons, anything else after

Doesn't matter

If you've bought Horizons (ok, otherwise the installer wouldn't show it), just install Horizons. This will load everything else, too. If you install the base game first and then Horizons, you'll only need to download the difference in the second round.

well i did the base game first..it doesnt give an option to install horizons so ill assume it just gets installed when i purchased the delux edition with it. theres a single player combat and a beta thing that give an install option so.its probably installed correctly.

... because there is nothing to install - Horizons is basically just unlocking access to content (engineers, planetary landing, some ships, etc...)

If the launcher is orange - that is base game only - if it is blue then that is Horizons enabled.

BTW - ignore the news items - they are old as that "feature" is in abeyance.
