Installing Odyssey on NOT c: ?

Hi! Coming back after a loooong pause.
I have a life time license and now want to try Odyssey. In the EDLauncher I have choosen another disk and file location (for Horizon) but Odyssey tries to install under C: Where do I change this?

It's a bit tricky and not obvious.

If Odyssey is not installed but available to install in the Launcher, select it, then go to Options at the top of the Launcher and the installation location will be available. Change it to your liking and then click it again to install Odyssey.

Thank you!
I was aware of the option -> select path, that's the way I changed it for Horizons, but Odyssey did not have that choice. I even reinstalled the EDLauncher thinking it was somehow outdated. But still, no path selection in options menu when I choose Odyssey. But then, by magical (or restarting the newly installed EDlauncher ) the path-selection was there. By that time I had already got medieval on my drive with mklink and forced the Frontier_Developments - folder to another drive.
Now starting up Odessay for the first time. O7

How strange. It may be worth another uninstall-install of EDH and EDO to get them on the drive you want, now that your an expert and know what to look for. I'm not a fan of mklink and forcing installs. Leads to problems down the road.

As for installs of EDH/O, even though I bought both EDH/O from the Frontier store, I wanted to have ED in Steam as well. To save drive space, I installed EDH through Steam and after it created it's directories in the Steam Library, I then over-installed the Frontier's store purchased EDH/O directly on top of the Steam directories, over-writing it. Now I have everything installed as if it were all from Steam, but am able to use the ED Launcher without having to launch the Steam Client and can update/upgrade the game using either the ED Launcher or the Steam Client and it only updates one install point and one set of files. If I need to move EDH/O to another drive, it's a simple matter to use Steam to move the game library somewhere else. You can use the Frontier Store "Partner Keys" and the Frontier "Account Link" to add the ED game to Steam. Once there, then over-install the Frontier purchased copies of EDH/O to Steam's Directory. Of course, this is all done with one set of credentials and one email address, both at Steam and Frontier.

For me, it all works well.

Glad you got it sorted out.

Fly safe.
