I went, I saw, there was nothing worth going there for, I left aggro to the System Authority there... in an Anarchy System... Authority... Anarchy... Anyhow, back to doing other things.

I think its just some injected text into galnet with no actual substance behind it. Went there this morning and it was no different to any other extraction site. The highlight was my mate capping a human cmdr with a 250k bounty and then promptly pancaking himself into an asteroid losing the lot, oh how we lolled!

No, were not dense...the game and devs are deliberately obtuse. If an event is on GalNet...i expect it to have some real meaning within the game, and i dont think im alone in this view.

Also...system authority in an ANARCHY system..is just no....no.

I can see if the controlling gang sent in ships, but not System Authority Ships....and besides, the whole thing appears bugged from the reports of other players.

tbh, I was disappointed the "event" was only fan fiction. I procured a Viper, pimped it out and made the 80ly trip to find, err, nothing much apart from a load of CMDRs queuing at the outpost and system authority vessels that don't like you shooting their pirate mates.

Yeah, it was kind of disappointing. Got really excited seeing it in the Galnet news feed, and didn't immediately realise the inclusion of the Cmdr's name meant it was player driven and not story driven. As {SAS} Stalker says, once we got out there it was just the same as any normal extraction zone, in fact it was worse as the story creator had picked an Anarchy System so no one was wanted and every single NPC had to be scanned.

It was worth it to see Dizzy faceplant that asteroid with the player bounty to collect though, he won't be plotting 80LY jumps in the Galaxy Map whilst in Planetary Rings again
