Instrumentation in the cockpit and stuff

A few thoughts:
#1 Make reverse thrust more obvious by placing a large 'R' below the throttle scale or changing the colour. Also add %age value
#2 Show known bodies on the radar in a different colour
#3 Have an alternate colour HUD scheme as reading data when traversing beige bodies with orange lettering difficult at times
#4 Have a 'lights on' indicator on the HUD
#5 Change the radar symbol for fragments or materials to enable them to be distinguished
#6 Clicking on a bookmark in the galaxy map will enter that in the destination box rather than having to locate the star
#7 have a search function on the Controls settings so you can find items quicker

#8 search forum before posting all of this has been covered before.

#1 you can tell when you are in reverse because you'll be flying backwards.
#2 HUD colours are fixed in relation to each other by the way they are programmed, if you play on PC you can change the HUD colour scheme but not individual colours and FD say they have no immediate plans to change this.
#3 See no.2
#4 Why? More clutter for no reason, if its dark you know your lights are on or off, if it's not dark it doesn't matter and leaving your ship lights on doesn't flatten the ships battery so it's unimportant.
#5 You can select individual mats or cargo pods from the contacts menu in your left side menu, the radar display is to small to fill up with models large enough to see in the numbers they can appear in.
#6 That would get annoying if you already had a destination set but were cycling through bookmarks.
#7 I admit the menu is very long but you get used to where things are and would likely only ever use the search a few times as a newbie.
