So thankfully I've only died once so far (knock on wood
) It was early on in my sidewinder in a station mishap. I didn't pay much attention to the insurance screen, I just remember it was some trivial cost, so I just paid it and moved on.
Now that I've got a better ship, decked out with a bunch of upgraded modules, I'm wondering, it it an all-or-nothing deal if i happen to die again?
Meaning, if I didn't have enough funds for the ship and all the upgraded modules, would i be given the option to deselect some of the expensive mods, to get to an insurance cost I could afford? Or is it only "pay for everything, or take a sidewinder" ?
