Insurance woes

So today after endless runs managed save up and get a asp all happy but left me broke...

was in the station signed off and went out I have just come back (no one home) and it is saying I am dead and I do not have the funds to but the ship back again on insurance

does anyone know if I am royally screwed?????

If you search the forums on the KEY word Insurance you will find yourself a member of the 'Sidewinder Reborn Club' - Also known as the 'I spent every penny I had on ship and cargo and now I have a free sidewinder' Club.

Also, why buy a ship when you can only cover the purchase cost? Let's hope you never have to buy a car or home in real life.

Totally agree with the not upgrading too soon but I had not been killed once in the last 4 weeks and I found my self in completely uncharted space (I think I must be going the wrong way as have not seen any players life for ages)

So chance of being killed I believed to be slim especially when docked and off line!!!

I have raised a ticket anyone know the response time I expect it be a little slow!!!!

Edit: I recently had my python perforated while i was in the outfitting screen in the hangar and stepped away to help with my kids and got back to a 5 million+ insurance screen, yes ticketed and yes, plenty money for the rebuy, always keep enough to rebuy my ships a few times over
