Integrated search tool within Ship / Station

Hey, I've been using https://eddb.io/ a lot and i think it would be really good idea to integrate this website inside the ED game itself, so that when you're in a station, you're able to search through that website using game's interface.

It really annoys me that ED has no way of finding stations / systems that sell what you're looking for, so i think it would be great feature to integrate EDDB into game. Hope you guys (developers) read this and make it happen.

There's a drop down menu over the prices column that gives some of the info you're looking for, and if you click on a commodity in a station, it's description tells you where that station sources or exports it to. Also the galaxy map shows trade routes and economies, stations with a given economy trade a given set of goods. It's all there. Part of the game is finding good trades. Eddb circumvents that gameplay with metadata, so it is unlikely the devs will include it.

The in game info, especially the trade routes in the galaxy map are sometimes ridiculously incorrect. When following some import/export lines I have gone to systems where no station or planetary base sells a particular good, despite the map indicating that it is supplying five neighbouring systems.

I agree, it'd be nice if more info (and not just trade info) was provided easily in-game, but given that 3rd party sites like eddb.io provide better information and in real(ish) time, I don't think it's high on fdevs list of things to do
