Interacting with players and bartenders etc on the Fleet Carrier Concourse

Is there any tutorial on how to interact with players and staff on Fleet Carriers? I can approach them but I cannot understand how to interact with them. I only bought my carrier in Feb but have not been able to find anything on the net or in discussions.

Yes wrong forum....and E for interact, just like lifts and seats, only the bartender though is interactable, use chat to talk to other players.

Do not make eye contact. Approach in a non threatening manner and throw them a food offering if you have one. If they decided to approach let them, they will sniff around and investigate - stay curled up in a non-aggressive ball while this is happening. Play dead if they get angry...

Oh wait, that's from my handbook on how to handle ED forumites, never mind.

Thank you the well wishing responders but my Odyssey was not at first allowing or even showing the E selection. However, it is now so all is OK.
