Intercepted by a Thargoid during a jump?

The fist time it happened to me, I was in an exploration ship with low shields and poor thrusters.
When I was hyperdicted, in the confusion and excitement I went in camera mode to take pictures and have a first look at an interceptor.
When the power came on, I realised that I hadn't de-throttled the ship, and so I bumped into the Thargoid.
Needless to say that it wasn't interpreted as a friendly bro-fist, and I was promptly destroyed, as my ship wasn't built for a quick run. 😅

I thought I was in for one a few months back... all the light went turquoise, including the star ahead... but then it ended and nothing exciting had happened.

But I guess I am far out in the black now, there's no reason thargoids would be outhere.

...is there?

from shinrarta? are the thargoids that deep in the bubble now?

Hands down one of the best creepy random scripted events in the game. Honestly wish it would happen in supercruise in incursion state systems.

Next on your list should be a High Intensity CZ so you can watch a capital ship come into the instance.

Epic gold.

That is quite usual since the first appearance of Thargoids back in the classic ELITE of 1984 where they always catch you during jump! :)

Had my first hyperinterdictions and thargoid kills since the late 80's this weekend. Put together a ax mc scout hunter from my winking cat christmas courrier and am working to get 75% for all three anti-xeno cg's 2/3 factions done so far. Fun stuff.

Great! I have never touched a pong machine myself. My very first video gaming experience was on the ATARI 2600 game console. The wooden style one. 👀
