Interdicted Whilst Fuel Scooping!

Yup, There i was, with gritted teeth, all senses focused on maintaining that glimpse of the Suns surface i keep in my corner window to maintain a steady close orbit and Max Scooping(!) ; When blow me down if some loon didn't attempt to interdict me right on the crest of a wave of Fire! I hit the HyperSpace jump button and just before he pulled me out, i lined up and shot off Ha! ....
But No, the maniac had followed me to the next node and there he was again, this time he pulled me outta SuperCruise before i could think up a cunning getaway - So there we both were burning up and scrapping it out - no option to run as my ship overheated the second i was pulled outta Supa'Cruise - Then the most bizarre, ... 3 ships drop outta Warp in the same hot spot, and start taking on the Bandit in the vulture with me, ... then no sooner than the bandits ship went Poof! they were off again, I recall seeing 'Deep {something} Assistance' on one as it flew thru my target, but they shot off so fast after they had helped me out, i couldn't tell you exactly who they where.

This all occurred just outside (about 40ly) Political Zoned space.

Anyone else had Interstellar Bandits who would chase you thru hyperspace to interdict whilst Fuel Scooping on a Star!?!?

There is nothing unusual about getting interdicted while fuel scooping. The pirate or power NPC risks getting sucked into it, but nothing in the game determines this cannot happen.
If you are in Power Play and scooping while "hostile" then the risk is greater. With "report crimes against me" turned on, and in a non-anarchy system, given enough time, there is a chance system security will show up and clobber the ship which fired on you. The game is constructed in such a way there are very few "safe" activities and fuel scooping is not one of them.

Yeah, I've had it happen a few times. Like the previous reply said, it's not particularly unusual.

I kitted out my python for trading to see what the fuss was about, and got interdicted as I arrived from my first jump with a hull full of gold, I tried to target the next system and jump out of the interdiction, but the ship acted as if I weren't aligned with the target system, I didn't think you could jump out of an interdiction

Damn it, the one time I don't want to submit and atomise the fool who dared pull a combat python out of supercruise with a cobra, I lost the fight and my docking shield is down before the fsd is off cool down needless to say, I kitted back up for combat before long. What can I say? I'm a RES junkie

If you are kitting a Python for trading or mining, you are no longer a dog fighter and a well configured Python can escape from anything to turn in your hold. I've been in hundreds of Interdictions and even wings of three and four and my mining Python was able to run from all of them. Know when to hold them, when to fold them, when to walk away, when to run. When I want to flight, I use another ship and another song.

I was just fortunate my drive was charging and whilst attempting to evade interdiction, i hit the target for the jump, and Whooosh! .....

I too am absolutely devoted to tracking down good resource points and harvesting the bounties, on a real good one i often safe and return, thus rebooting the instance and getting high bounties again! ...

I have had the game since Beta , I backed the game in kickstarter once, then forgot all about it until i heard they had made the goal, .... So i kinda started play, then with most of 2015 being counted out due to Bowel Cancer, I am now on the mend and Finall have the Time , endless time on my hands in Remission from the illness ; Hence i am finding some things that you guys have seen before Quite Astounding! ......

I Do just Love this "Game" - It seems to be doing it an injustice to call it a mere game as its Sooo Much More!!

Ok Release day for Horizons Early Access today, no more Beta, .. but amn really looking forward to more human interaction in the game . I'd love to get in a Wing, but i dunno if my Elite times are too erratic for a lot of groups .

Either way, there is plenty out there! ..
