Interdiction now near impossible to evade?

Since yesterday it seems I'm no longer able to evade NPC interdictions. It used to be fairly easy, but now the marker jumps all over the place making it an extereme effort to keep pace. I found out submitting and boosting away is now much faster...

Anyone else seeing this? Could this have to do with gaining ranks?

And I've all but one that I've tried to evade.

It is tougher than it was, but it used to be laughably easy.

Aye, I've noted this as well. Used to be able to evade any interdiction without too much problem, now I haven't been able to evade a single one...

To be honest, I don't even try anymore. I've yet to be interdicted by an NPC I can't take out in only a few minutes. Free credits ftw.

Good to hear it's not just me. I think they over tweaked here and made it way too hard.

my HUD went all screwy the last few times i fought an interdiction. i have managed to evade both players and NPC's over the weekend, but i've failed a lot more than previously. no idea if the type of ship and load affects this as that has changed a lot recently.

I jsut look for the escape vector, try to keep it lined up (blue bar) and you escape

I haven't noticed any change. I don't think anyone has successfully interdicted me since the early gamma's. I've submitted to a few, but only because I wanted the bounty on their head. Interdictions seem to happen to me a lot more frequently in the Adder than the Viper.

The last few interdictions i've submitted to have just left me floating in space by my lonesome. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, it's almost like I pull my ship out of Frame Shift and everyone just flies right by me xD

Maybe NPCs have just upgraded their frameshift interdictor to a class A one.

I was interdicted once by an NPC and hadn't even had a chance to chase the escape vector before the interdiction became successful. I was lucky it was just an NPC and I could deal with him (and collect the bounty, yay), but being the noob I am, I'm in no position to fight other players.

I think it's how you control the game. I use the X52 pro and have no problem out maneuvering the NPC and Human interdictions.

I can imagine that playing just with KB and mouse and the whole thing becomes a lot more difficult.

I love it. I was astonished when an NPC viper dropped my Cobra out of warp despite me fighting it tooth and claw.

And of course my wife beat the first ever interdiction she got with ease with mouse and keyboard minutes later. It's all good

Hummm, I've noticed the opposite, I find when I choose to evade I can most of the time. I thought it'd got easier, however I think it's more to do with the 50+ hours flying experience that I've actually improved.

When I used to get interdicted I was all over the place fighting with my stick, now I take it more leisurely and find it easier to control, practice, practice, practice, even old pilots like me can still learn new tricks.

I use an X55 and used to evade without any problem. As of yesterday that is no longer the case. Have you tried it yesterday or today?

- It could be they have changed something server side to make it harder to evade (I suspect this is the case)
- It could be it's harder because I ranked up a lot this weekend.
- It could be the systems I'm in now have NPC's with better interdictors. Doubt this as I have a friend who has not ranked up and is still in his starting neighborhood who also noticed evading is now impossible for him.

I've just avoided an interdiction in a cargo cobra in Sorbago. Haven't noticed a difference to be honest. I must have had a sketchy connection earlier because I was all set to coast clear of another interdiction when the target disappeared, was suddenly on wrong heading to escape, I crashed out of SC sideways but no aggressor appeared.

Since I fly a type 6 atm, between the Cobra and Asp. I have evaded a couple. However most of the time its afterburner time.

Maybe a connection or internet issue? I noticed the servers were slowing down a bit over the weekend and maybe that's what made it harder? Dunno really, just speculating.
