PvP Interdiction workings

I have a couple of questions for "murderous mindless gankers". :D

What is the max angular distance between ships for the interdictor to catch its prey? I think I was caught from something like 160 deg, that hollow square was almost in front. Of course I could be wrong with reading the radar, but it was not that far from the cone of vision.

Why the mini-game can be lost if the blue bar got full already? Just random "simulation" or am I missing something? Just in case, I was in a DBX, and the opponent in a Cobra.

I think angles are static with every module but distance is increased with upping a class. The standard (I think, I haven't looked in a while) is something like 50° but I've heard it can be widened to 100°+ with engineering, but nowhere near 160°.

The blue blocks reference to % dominance on the interdiction. Sometimes it can go all the way to the end and the other player can bring it back as long as they have centered on their target and you make a mistake. My recommendation is to always steer toward the escape vector, even if it looks like you've won, until it actually says you've evaded it.

Exactly, I know it should be somewhere around 100°, but not that much.

I did exactly that, the red bar got completely down, and boom... interdiction successful or whatever it says in this case.

There's many classes and grades of interdictor, and you can engineer them to increase the angle that they can catch you and the range.

And? The range I don't care here, and max engineered angle is 125° I'd guess? Well, I've misinterpreted the radar probably. What about the mini-game?
