I flew my Aspx across the ...... um, bubble. Got an Orca wanting my cargo. Blew him up after a loooong shooting session.
No! I did not do a lot of damage. The four feds did most of it.
Flew my Aspx across the bubble ..... um, got a cobra interD me. He, or she, used some sort of shotgun and I was blowed up in less than 8 seconds.

Flew my Aspx across the bubble and got interD by an Orca, got to the station and he, or she, followed me. I shot first and with the help of four more feds we blew him, or her, up. Wacko the diddly O. Another 225,000Cr bounty.

The Orcas were hard to kill, but didn't fight much. The Cobra interdicted me from the front, flew backwards firing his bloody big shotgun and boom. Me! Not him!

That's the difference between fighting an effective multi-role combat ship like the Cobra, and a giant luxury space bus like the Orca.

I often find a combat-built Cobra more than a match for an Asp.

Just remembered something this morning.
When I was firing at the enemy I clipped a fed.
Comment: "Hey I'm not the bad guy here. Watch your fire."

I guess that is something new for this game.

If you stay above an Orca, he can't fire on you cause his guns are below. A cobra using a frag can be devastating cause he can get in close where that weapon is the most effective.
