Interdictions.

Hello commanders.
Perhaps a silly question but, I you create a private group for you and your friends, can you get interdicted by NPC's?
Thanks.
By the way, I was some minutes ago in the center of Mercury :) The center of Mercury.png

The training modules, possibly. Other than that, no.

Did you check the game's title when you bought it?

Ok, ok, I understand this is all about danger but just wondering whether it was possible to enjoy the galaxy without the risk to die and lose precious credits. Just that :)

:( Ok, thanks.
So, is there any mode in the game to be relaxed and with no npc's so that you never have to worry about interdictions?

If you have no missions active, no cargo, and are not pledged to a Power in PowerPlay, the number of NPC's gunning for you will be pretty negligible.

Pro-tip: If you are interdicted whilst in supercruise, instead of fighting the RNG dominated mini-game, simply submit to the interdiction by throttling to zero. Once you are back in normal space, boost away from your attacker, let your FSD do the quick-cool off (Should only take a couple seconds), and jump out. It's very fast and very easy. Worstcase you loose a ring or two of your shield, or a shot of chaff.

Actually, yes it is. Outfit a ship for exploration, head out beyond populated space, and once you're a couple hundred light years out, your only worries will be getting cooked by inattentively fuel scooping, or very occasionally jumping into a close binary system and getting stuck between two stars.

Other than that, you can journey out, discover strange new worlds, explore the galaxy's spleandour, and collect lots of valuable astrogation data to sell off when you return to 'civilised' space.
