Interdictions

There is one really annoying thing about it - after interdiction you end up quite far away from where you submitted and dropped.
For example you are approaching station and got 5 Ms to fly to it. You are getting interdicted and you submit. And PAW! You are 10 Ls away.

You are 15 Ls away from station -> Interdiction detected -> Submitted -> Dropped 157 Ls away from station.

That really something FD needs to look at.

When you are interdicted successfully the following ship pulls the target ship (you) back to their position in space when you both drop. Logically the two of you need to end up in the same place, and that place is decided by the winner of the interdiction.
If you win, you stay in your place (supercruise) and your opponent drops to normal space. If they win, you join them where they are.

I'd rather that interdiction required the interdictor to slip into your wake and hit you with a weapon that temporarily disabled your FSD to warp space. The mini-game would be up to preventing the interdictor from aligning precisely with your wake which would be required to distrupt it fully. The view would be the same in most cases.

I wouldn't allow the great ranges and angles that seem to happen with the NPCs. You would get an alert when they started to enter your wake. Engineers could make mods to increase resistance to the wake distruptor.
