What was on the lower part of the mission window ?

The mission icon at the top indicates it's just another delivery mission.

Sorry Kayweg - this is all I screencapped from yesterday.

Currently focused on powerplay missions otherwise I would have taken the mission!

yea would love to of seen the bottom of that mission. Its about time we explorers get these missions to do out there.

A mission that expected you to go to the rim would be great. But that appears to just be hot air to make another delivery mission inside the bubble sound more interesting. Now, if when you deliver, a branch appeared that got you going outwards, again that would be a good thing. But I see no such functionality in the new mission infrastructure. We can but hope.

Call me stupid! :D

The text of the mission and thread title implies that there is something significant going on within the game. The mission itself however is merely to deliver item from point A to point B.

I was asking if there is more to it than that...or if the text is merely flavor text that is purely role-play and isn't actually talking about an in-game event.

This has made me believe that ED is maybe going in the right direction, whether it's just fluff for a delivery mission or not. We need missions that could send commanders thousands of Lys into the black to investigate the galaxy. Will you do it? Is it too far out? Too risky? Too DANGEROUS! We just need the epic and interesting rewards, even if it's just a missing piece of a huge puzzle. Come on FD, I believe in you!

Pretty sure this is confirmed to be "Just another mission" (not 100% sure as I can't do them myself yet...)

Well that's that then! It's promising but a little annoying too. I backed the game last summer at Beta stage and now we're six months into the release. We're still at Beta. Will it always seem like this throughout the 10 year development plan or do you think it'll be a 'complete' game before the paid expansions are released? (Sorry, going off topic, will understand if this post is moved).

I don't know what time line for what features they have in mind. We all would love to have that info.

I'm just sure they don't HAVE 10 years, the world around them isn't standing still.
