I agree there might be something weird going on at CIG, but Smart's Kanye West attitude is helping nobody.

Crowd funding is only as good as the guy running the project. I had no issues throwing money at the likes Brian Fargo, David Braben or even Obsidian.

But I steered well clear of Molyneux and Chris Roberts.

When choosing to fund a project you need to look at the project management capabilities as the vision and passion. In saying that I do back the odd risky newcomer, but I have a high tolerance for failure.
