I find it odd that only one Golden Wireframe turned up this year.

Funny thing you talking about the wire frame paint jobs. I was just looking at some yesterday contemplating changing my paint to the wire frame gold on my mining Sidewinder, MSS Chip. Yes I have a Sidewinder built for mining.

My old sidey has a Special Effect paint job and decal. Unlikely to change that no matter what else they bring out tbh. I don't fly it often enough to spend on it.

I wouldn’t mind, in fact I would very likely buy a number of gloss-color and gold/silver paints.

Since for whatever reason, they love to paint that POS Cobra 3, take a look at the Squadron Paint pack - now invision all that primer-grey as gold or silver instead, leaving the colored bits colored. Now you’ve got a pretty sharp paint job. This same concept could be applied to quite a few other “paint a color swath on it” paint packs that would really dress up whatever they’re applied to nicely.
